The Trailblazer Experience

aiEDU Trailblazers Fellowship

A paid opportunity for K–12 educators to explore, test, and lead in the future of teaching with AI.

You can choose the cohort that best fits your background and teaching context. All cohorts include:

  • A 12-week virtual cohort

  • 5 live, virtual sessions, plus a culminating showcase event

  • Implementation and filming of 2–3 classroom activities focused on AI Readiness and AI Literacy

  • Opportunities to share feedback and reflect with peers

  • A connection to aiEDU’s national educator network

  • An $875 stipend, certificate of completion, and digital badge

  • For: Grades 3-12 Educators in rural communities nationwide

AI Trailblazers Fellowship

FAQs

  • To apply for the Spring 2026 Trailblazers Fellowship, you must:

    • Be a current K–12 classroom teacher in the U.S.

      • Teach in a classroom where you can record yourself implementing aiEDU activities (for internal learning and reflection) and collect any necessary student release forms.

      • Be able to implement aiEDU curriculum activities 2-3 times during the fellowship

      • Be available to attend five virtual sessions and complete asynchronous activities between sessions

        • The orientation and closing sessions are 1.5 hours; the remaining three sessions are 1 hour each

    • Paid Opportunity: Receive a $875 stipend for your participation. Additional compensation provided for professional filmed lessons.

    • Ongoing Support & Professional Learning: Build your own AI readiness and skills for teaching AI readiness

    • Curriculum Influence: Help shape aiEDU curriculum by sharing feedback from your classroom

    • Recognition as an AI Leader: Earn a certificate and badge, and be recognized as a leader in AI education

    • Build Your Network: Connect with innovative educators from across the country
