Perspective: Need a model for AI? Look to Ohio
When it comes to AI readiness, Ohio leads the way.
That’s the perspective shared by aiEDU CEO and Co-Founder, Alex Kotran and Ohio’s Director of the Ohio Department of Workforce and Education, Stephen Dackin, shared this week in a piece published by Work/Shift, which covers technology, education and the future of work.
As Kotran and Dackin write, Ohio “exemplifies” the way progress can be made when states are active and engaged.
“Despite the size of the system, the recent push to shift control of education back to the states offers us unprecedented flexibility to take on this challenge,” they write. “It gives states the opportunity to innovate, lead, and embrace new ideas. This allows for the implementation of strategies that are effective at the state and local levels, which can then be scaled for broader success.”
