Partnership Spotlights

aiEDU has been a core coalition-builder for AI readiness across the country. As we embrace the value of radical partnership, aEDU has secured several partnerships with other nonprofits to empower schools, teachers, students, and parents with AI readiness. Here are a few examples.

One of our professional learning initiatives was the RAISE Collaborative (Rural AI Schools of Excellence), a joint pilot with Leading Educators, the Arizona Institute for Education and the Economy at Northern Arizona University, and Collegiate Edu-Nation. The RAISE Collaborative featured a three-month intensive training cohort of teachers and administrators from seven rural districts in the Southwest. The sessions culminated in an in-person gathering where all participants could share their collective insight and further explore further issues related to AI in education.

Another impactful partnership we organized this year was with The Rithm Project. Together, we worked to develop curriculum resources for AI literacy training in English language arts classes. In addition to the classroom activities, both of our organizations co-hosted professional learning sessions to better support in-class implementation and ensure real-world relevance

Other partnerships from 2025 included:

AI Literacy Day: A collaboration with Common Sense Media, the EDSAFE AI Alliance, and The Tech Interactive featuring 80+ cross-country events on March 28th to highlight the importance of preparing K-12 students for the world they’ll meet in the future.

Quill.org: A full-year AI literacy curriculum for K-12 schools powered by Quill’s Reading for Evidence platform and aiEDU’s AI Snapshots resources. The joint effort was supported by a $400,000 renewal grant from the Patrick J. McGovern Foundation.

Indigitize: A jointly launched Trailblazers cohort for educators in Native American communities. aiEDU and Indigitize co-developed culturally relevant curriculum exploring how AI literacy can function alongside Indigenous knowledge traditions and values.
